Our garage doors undergo stringent testing of their safety features by external agencies, and every one that is manufactured in our factory is visually inspected and tested by our in-house quality control department. 

On our Transform door, the remote control operates on a ‘Hold to Run’ function, meaning as soon as you stop pressing the button, the garage door will stop immediately. So, as soon as you see an obstruction in the way of the door, you can halt the door immediately.

Our Transform Pro, Titan and Titan Shield Pack all come with our industry-leading SafeGuard Plus system as standard. This uses an obstacle detection motor to instantly rebound the garage door if it comes in to contact with an obstruction.

In case of power failures, an internal manual override is included as part of your Garolla product, while we recommend external overrides if your garage door is the only access in to your garage.

All Garolla doors run on mains power and feature a standard fused UK mains plug. 

Yes! All components used in our doors are CE marked and manufactured by the largest component factory in Europe; industry leaders in their field. Our doors are also UKCA marked. Every Garolla garage door has been made using these parts and is assembled at our UK factory, by trained and experienced craftsmen. 

Both our Titan and Titan Shield Pack roller garage doors adhere to rigorous test standards required by UK police and have achieved Police Preferred Specification through the official police security initiative, Secured by Design.

The principles behind Secured by Design have been proven to reduce the risk and fear of crime, helping to improve the security of buildings and provide safer places to live, work and visit.

In case of a garage power failure, don’t worry! – An internal manual override is included as standard with your Garolla. 

Please note: if you do not have an additional entry point to your garage (EG a side door) then we would recommend also installing an external override. You can speak to your installer or our customer enquiries team about this.

Our Garolla products are more secure than many other garage door designs and styles out on the UK market. The patented auto-locking system is one of the best-performing systems available, and unique to these doors. 

In fact, our Titan and Titan Shield Pack doors were recently given Secured by Design accreditation, meaning that they meet 'police preferred standards' of security.

Utilising an octagonal barrel attached to the top lath, instead of the industry-standard circular one, means more protection is possible. The fact that there are no manual locks or handles also means there are fewer opportunities for unwelcome visitors to attempt a forced entry. 

The bottom ‘Security Slat’ is made from thicker aluminum than the other slats to further improve security and rigidity. These laths are held in place using high-strength end locks and strengthened side runners, ensuring your doors operate seamlessly throughout their life. 

So, how secure is the door? Very! 

Maintaining your Garolla electric garage Door is as easy as looking after a uPVC door or composite Door. A quick, regular wash of the exterior to keep salt and grit off the aluminium slats is all that’s required, along with visual inspections to ensure all electrical cables are attached to the wall and undamaged.

Following installation, you will be provided with an invoice for payment to be made from your Local Engineer. Engineers are Partners of Garolla, it is usual practice for your invoice to be under the Partners registered company name.

You will then be invited to register your Garolla installation to active your warranty.

Electric garage doors work using a motorised system that opens and closes the door with the push of a button or remote control. The motor is responsible for lifting and lowering the electric roller garage door.

At Garolla, we use a maintenance-free integrated motor which is housed inside the octagonal barrel in the top box. It is operated using a wireless remote control or the control box button. The motor itself is designed to be used for years and years to come with no maintenance. 

We have a number of motors with different power ratings, with the most powerful being used on the biggest/heaviest of garage doors, including our Titan and Titan Shield Pack.

Unlike garage doors with windows, which can provide visibility into your garage and potentially compromise safety, our doors feature a secure, interlocked 'curtain' of slats. This design minimises any potential security vulnerabilities, reinforcing the protection of your belongings and home.

Replacing your current garage door with an electric roller garage door is a seamless process for our experienced, nationwide team of engineers. 

At Garolla, once you’ve chosen your garage door, a local Garolla engineer will come to take a look at your garage. They will confirm the build specification and provide a final quote.

Our Yorkshire-based manufacturing team then makes and examines your new garage door, before that same local engineer returns to install it (for FREE!). We’ll even take away your old garage door and - if possible - recycle it too. 

And just like that, your new electric roller garage door is installed and replaced.

Yes, many roller garage doors are insulated to improve energy efficiency and temperature regulation in your garage.

We all know installation timelines can vary depending on factors such as availability, customisation requirements and scheduling logistics. Rest assured, the average turnaround time from booking a survey to installation with Garolla is approximately two to three weeks.

Once the survey is completed, our Yorkshire-based manufacturing team will begin crafting your bespoke garage door, before your local engineer will return to fit the electric roller garage door.

With every new garage door from Garolla, you'll receive two remote control fobs as standard. Our Transform door offers a 'hold to run' operation, whilst our other models feature one-touch control for added convenience.

We understand that every household has varying needs, so additional remote controls are available for purchase if needed.

Whilst both roller garage doors and shutter doors operate by rolling up and down along tracks, they have some differences in design and functionality. 

Roller garage doors consist of horizontal panels that roll up into a compact coil above the opening, whereas shutter doors typically consist of interlocking slats that roll around a drum or barrel at the top of the door.

Yes, at Garolla, we’ll take away your old garage door and - if possible - recycle it too. Depending on the material of your old door, a charge may be applied.

Our electric roller garage doors are made to measure, ensuring they’re the perfect fit for your garage space. With that in mind, we certainly offer double garage doors, as well as solutions for larger garage door projects.

Our Titan door is engineered for garages up to 5m wide, while our Titan Shield Pack is can be fitted up to 5.8m wide. Constructed from our toughest twin-walled, high-density polyurethane slats with double the density of our standard Titan door.
