Titan Shield is engineered for garages up to 5.5 m wide and can be added to any Titan door for enhanced strength and security. It is built using our toughest twin-walled slats, featuring 20% more aluminium and higher-density polyurethane foam than our standard Titan door for superior durability and insulation. For added protection, it also includes a powerful loud siren alarm to deter intruders instantly.
Adhering to rigorous test standards required by UK police, Titan Shield has been accredited with Secured by Design status (CS10023). The principles behind this have been proven to reduce the risk and fear of crime.
Enjoy all the space-saving benefits of an electric roller door, but with even greater robustness for the widest of openings. Designed for ultimate strength and security, this insulated garage door provides sound and temperature insulation, and is the perfect choice if you want to safeguard your possessions, or you live in a particularly windy part of the country.
Titan Shield runs on our deepest guide rails for a straight and smooth close. More secure and more weatherproof. The heavy-duty rubber seal - where it meets a level floor - stops the draughts and leaks associated with traditional up-and-over doors too.
It comes with our industry-leading SafeGuard Plus safety mechanism as standard. This features an on-board obstacle detection motor (ODM) which instantly rebounds the garage door if it comes into contact with an obstruction.
Titan Shield is available in a range of tough polyamide powder-coated colours for long-lasting, no-fade protection against the elements.
Titan Shield is powered by our strongest maintenance-free tubular motor, which rotates an octagonal toughened steel barrel. Each door is protected with a keyless auto lock system – the door cannot be lifted manually and an auto brake means no sudden drops.
Electric roller garage doors are a great space saver, and our neat and tidy enclosed aluminium top box – even on a door this wide – means you’ll have 25% more usable garage space than a garage with a sectional door. It also protects the drive barrel, motor and rolled door too.
Titan Shield is operated by a one-touch remote control from within 20m. A manual override opens the door from the inside if there’s a power failure. External overrides can be fitted at an additional cost.
