Professional experienceI started installing electric roller garage doors for Garolla in June 2020. Prior to this I was a senior quality engineer for JCB Earthmovers. After leaving school I completed a 4 year apprenticeship in toolmaking and had been in the engineering trade until teaming up with Garolla. For the last 3 years I have really enjoyed the experience of meeting new and different people when fitting garage doors and I love the job satisfaction the this role brings.

Most interesting garage transformationOne of my latest garage transformations was replacing three up and over wooden doors with three green 77mm roller doors with brown frames and top boxes to suit the wooden frame of the garage.

Hobbies and interestsI like VW cars and have a 1990 mk2 Golf 16v and attend meetings when possible, especially bug jam and VW Action at Santa Pod Raceway. I also keep tropical fish with a species tank of Malawi cichlids. Fun fact: I used to skateboard when I was a lot younger from the age of 14 to 32 until I smashed my heel into three pieces. I decided that was probably enough!
